Acknowledgment and acceptance of terms
Advantech Co., Ltd. and its affiliated companies ("Advantech") provide customer online shopping and online registration service (hereinafter referred to as "Service") in accordance with these terms of Service. When you use the Service, it means that you have read, understood and agreed to accept all the contents of these terms of Service.
If you are minor, in addition to meeting the above requirements, you should use or continue to use it only after your parents (or guardians) have read, understood and agreed to all the contents of these terms of Service and subsequent revisions. When you use or continue to use the Service, it means that your parents (or guardians) have read, understood and agreed to accept all the contents of these terms of Service and subsequent revisions. Advantech has the right to modify or change the content of these terms of Service at any time, and you are advised to pay attention to such modifications or changes at any time. When you continue to use these Service after any modification or change, you are deemed to have read, understood and agreed to accept such modification or change. If you do not agree with the content of these terms of Service, or if your country or region excludes all or part of the content of these terms of Service, you should stop using the Service immediately.
When using the Service, you may link to websites operated by other operators, but this does not mean that Advantech has any relationship with these operators; the websites operated by other operators are the responsibility of each operator and are not under the control and responsibility of Advantech.
The obligations of registration
In order to complete the transaction, including payment and delivery, all users who consume online on the Service must ensure that the information they keep is consistent with the facts; if there is any change afterwards, they should immediately notify the administrator of the Advantech e-commerce website. In order to use the service, you agree to the following:
- Provide your own correct, up-to-date and complete information as prompted by the Service registration form;
- Maintain and update your personal data to keep it correct, current and complete. If you provide any wrong or false information, Advantech has the right to suspend or terminate your account and refuse you to use all or part of the Service.
Privacy Policy
Advantech adopts a secure transaction model and promises to undertake confidentiality obligations for the data retained by users; it will not disclose or provide it to third parties except for the relevant goods or Service providers or cooperating manufacturers for the purpose of completing the transaction.
Under the following circumstances, Advantech has the right to view or provide the user’s personal information to the competent authority, or to claim that its rights have been violated: According to the law, or according to the order of the judicial authority or other competent authority; or to implement these agreed terms, or the user’s violation of the agreed terms; or to maintain the normal operation and security of the Service system; or to protect the legal rights and interests of Advantech and other third parties;
Users should keep their personal information, payment information (including credit card information) and member passwords in a safe place to avoid leakage. All actions after entering the system using its account number and password are deemed to be the actions of the account and password holder.

Member account, password and security
After completing the registration process of the Service, you will receive a password and account number. It is your responsibility to maintain the confidentiality and security of your password and account. You will be fully responsible for all actions taken using this password and account. You also agree to the following:
(a) When your password or account is stolen or any other security issues occur, you will immediately notify Advantech.
(b) Every time the connection is completed, the use of your account will be terminated.
User's legal compliance obligations and commitments
You promise not to use the Service for any illegal purpose or in any illegal way, and promise to abide by the relevant laws and regulations of the Republic of China and all international practices for using the Internet. If you are a user outside the Republic of China, you agree to abide by the laws and regulations of your country or region. You agree and guarantee that you will not use the Service to engage in acts that infringe on the rights and interests of others or violate the law, including but not limited to:
A. Infringe on other people's reputation, privacy, business secrets, trademark rights, copyrights, patent rights, other intellectual property rights and other rights;
B. Violation of confidentiality obligations under laws or contracts;
C. Use the Service in the name of others;
D. Transmit or distribute computer viruses;
E. Other actions that Advantech has reasonable reasons to consider inappropriate.
System interruption or failure
The Service may occasionally be interrupted or malfunctioned, which may cause inconvenience to your use, loss of data, errors, tampering or other economic losses. You should take your own protective measures when using this Service. Advantech shall not be liable for any damages caused by your use (or inability to use) the Service.
User and Advantech’s liability clause
- Once you consume online on Service, if there is any change in your information (such as address, phone number), you should immediately go online to correct their retained information, and should not deny their ordering behavior on the grounds that the information does not match or refuse to pay. For all online consumption on the Service, you agree to use the electronic transaction data recorded by Advantech as the standard, and if there is any dispute, the electronic transaction data shall be used as the identification standard. If you find that the transaction information is incorrect, you should immediately notify the administrator of the e-commerce website of the Service. The Service reserves the right to accept your order or not.
- Please note that even if Advantech receives your order request, it does not mean that the transaction has been completed or a contract has been set up. Advantech still needs to confirm that the terms of transaction conditions are correct, the goods are still in stock, or the services are still available, and that there are no other circumstances under which Advantech cannot accept the order, before Advantech and you can establish a contract and begin shipping. Advantech has the right to refuse to accept your order if the terms of transaction condition/pictures/description/price are wrong, the product is out of stock, the service cannot be provided, or there are other situations where Advantech cannot accept the order.
- In accordance with the provisions of the Consumer Protection Act of R.O.C., online shoppers are entitled to a seven-day cooling-off period for goods to arrive. However, the returned product must be in a new state and fully packaged (keep the integrity of the product, accessories, packaging, manufacturer's carton and all accompanying documents or materials), and the audio-visual discs and software products must not be opened, otherwise the return will not be accepted.
- When you have to return the product, please fill in the return order through the online customer Service system. Advantech will review the case within 3 working days from the next day of the application. After passing the review, Advantech will reply by E-mail and contact you by phone within 5 working days to retrieve the product, please keep your phone on and the original product is ready. After picking up the product, we will provide you with a receipt for your records.
- Please pack the product intact and complete, together with the accessories, do not miss any parts, and do not damage the outer box. Please use the original packaging when the manufacturer sent it and prepare it; if the carton is lost, please repack it on the outer box of the product (please do not directly paste the home delivery slip or write on the original box of the product), if the original box is damaged or the product is missing, the return will not be accepted or the refund amount will be discounted depending on the degree of damage. (Apply within seven days after the arrival of the goods. If you fail to do so within the time limit, you will not be able to return them.)
- After receiving the returned product and confirming that it is correct, the refund will be made within 7 working days, and an email notification will be sent on the refund day.

Disclaimer
You clearly understand and agree that: to the maximum extent permitted by applicable laws, Advantech will provide you with components and necessary after-sales service according to specifications (including all possible errors thereof). Advantech hereby disclaims any other warranties and conditions, express, implied or statutory, with respect to the products, components, and support or other services, information, software and related content provided or not provided or not provided by or as a result of the use of products or components, including but not limited, any (if any) implied warranties, liabilities of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, reliability or usability, accuracy or completeness of response, results of use, good workmanship, virus-free and error-free or condition.
Protection of Intellectual Property Rights
The software or programs used in the Service, and all content on the website, including but not limited to works, pictures, files, information, materials, website structure, arrangement of website screens, and webpage design, are legally owned by Advantech or other rights holders. Property rights, including but not limited to trademark rights, patent rights, copyrights, trade secrets and proprietary technologies, etc. no one is allowed to use, modify, reproduce, publicly broadcast, adapt, distribute, distribute, publicly publish, reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble without authorization by Advantech or other rights holders. If you want to quote or reproduce the aforementioned software, programs or website content, you must obtain the prior written consent of Advantech or other rights holders according to law. It is your duty to respect intellectual property rights. If there is any violation, you shall be liable for damages to Advantech (including but not limited to litigation costs and attorney fees, etc.)。
Applicable law and competent court
The interpretation and application of this agreement, as well as disputes related to this agreement, shall be handled in accordance with the laws of the Republic of China, and the Taiwan Taipei District Court shall be the court of first instance jurisdiction.
