USM-260, an embedded Box PC with Intel Skylake Core i7/i5/i3 CPU, is designed for machine vision, vision control, interactive kiosks, high traffic POS, digital signage and other industrial control systems. USM-260 designed for long-life operation 24/7 with high reliability and stability solutions too for factory automation, food automation, industrial automation, process control management.

Complete Expandability

USM-260 come with the most complete expandability, including USB, COM, HDMI, DP, LAN & mSATA and etc. These features meet a wide array of multi-equipment retail POS, people counting, machine vision and industrial control serial port connectivity usages. High portability and solid mechanics facilitate wide applications like people counting, embedded kiosk, industrial automation, digital signage, gaming machine, entertainment, and industrial control and vehicle system applications.

Effective Thermal Solution

The dynamic heat conduction system sith its advanced design can effectively improve heat transfer performance. The enhanced thermal design is more effective for dissipating CPU heat. Furthermore, it eliminates potential bending during PCB assembly and can reduce temperatures.

Easy Maintenance Design

USM-260 is designed easy maintenance, minimizing total cost of ownership (TCO) while ensuring utmost availability. With the front tray access design, the dual 2.5” HDD/SSD tray for data backup; and the front 4 x USB2.0 for system updating and Bios, firmware and middleware upgrade. Furthermore, the expansion cover at the bottom for easily mini PCIe Wi-Fi module installation, the maintenance conditions and diagnosis functions can be retrieved quickly.

Advantechs Business Intelligent Platform includes people counting, heatmap analysis and interactive signage. Its compact design and industrial grade design and operating temperature range ensure its reliability and stability in indoor and outdoor settings. Meanwhile, USM-260 is a high MTBF reliable, easily adapts to customer requirements, and comes with extensive diagnosis functions from Advantech WISE-PaaS/DeviceOn, developers benefit from a library of API functions, which provide hardware information to alert the hardware & system status. This function ensure the total cost of ownership (TCO) is kept to a minimum.
