What is NEBS Level 3?

NEBS is a set of product reliability and safety requirements created for the telecom business to ensure a high level of reliability even if operated in less than ideal conditions. NEBS Level 3 is the highest level the certification offers, and ensures that the equipment meets strict specifications for fire suppression, thermal margin testing, vibration resistance in case of earthquakes, acoustic limits, and RF emission limits among others.
