How to Use How to Buy
  1. Your credit card number and personal information will be secure. We use Secure Sockets Layer technology, the widely accepted Internet security standard. Your credit card number is encrypted when you submit your credit card number. This means your information is encoded and secure so no one can view it as it travels across the Internet.
  2. When you browse the site, it is hosted on an unencrypted server. We use an unencrypted server for areas that don't require entering sensitive information. Whenever you make a purchase or enter personal information, you will be using one of our secure, encrypted servers.
  3. Advantech carries inventory in our distribution center in the U.S., Europe, and Asia. Very rarely will any products be completely out of stock. If an item is out of stock, you will be given the option of proceeding with a partial shipment or waiting for a complete shipment for your order. We will notify you by e-mail when the out-of-stock item becomes available. If your order is for a system and one of its components is out of stock, we will wait to ship the order when it is complete. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you.
  4. Yes. When Advanech eStore/Advantech receives your on-line order, we'll send you an e-mail message to confirm that we received your order. Within three days, we'll send a second e-mail with your confirmation number. You can log into the Order Status section to access your order information, tracking number, etc. When filling a print and fax purchase order, we'll send your confirmation number via fax or e-mail within three days.
  5. We will make every effort to deliver your product to you on time. Orders requiring no assembly, configuration, or test and burn-in will ship within 3 business days, while orders that require special handling will ship within 5-7 business days. However, the delivery times could vary, if the product is not in stock at the time you place the order. You will receive an e-mail message from us, if your order cannot be delivered within 5 business days. Our delivery takes place from Monday to Friday.

  9. Discounts are available for volume or OEM purchases on a per-order or a blanket order basis. Advanech eStore can put you in touch with a sales representative or partner who can quote volume prices.
  10. Advanech eStore ships via UPS, FedEx and other major carriers upon request. Please check all packages immediately upon receipt. Any damage or loss in transit should be noted on the delivery receipt and must be reported to Advantech promptly. Customers should file claims on Carriers for any loss immediately.

  12. All products are guaranteed against defects in material and workmanship for a period of one year from the date of purchase. Any product found to be defective within the warranty period will, at the option of the manufacturer, be either repaired or replaced. This warranty does not apply to products which have been subject to misuse, neglect, accident, improper installation or unauthorized repair. In no case shall the manufacturer's liability exceed the product's original purchase price. THE WARRANTY SET FORTH ABOVE IS EXCLUSIVE AND NO OTHER WARRANTY, WHETHER WRITTEN OR ORAL, IS EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED. ADVANTECH SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIMS IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. See the Advantech Warranty Policy for more specific details.
    • Please contact Advantech to receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number prior to returning any product for credit or repair. The RMA number must be marked clearly on the packaging in which goods are returned.
    • All Credit Returns must be shipped prepaid in resalable condition in the original packing container with all original parts and packing. See our Return Policy for more details.
    • All Warranty Repair RMA's must be shipped prepaid to Advantech. They will be returned to you via the same freight method as received. Warranty Repair turnaround time is normally 5 days business days after receipt. Note :Whenever you return CPU cards for repair, please indicate whether you are sending the CPU, SIMM modules, ROM BIOS or cache memory with the card.
